Vincent O'Connor
Born in Los Angeles, California of Irish parents, Vincent started dancing at the age of 7. He studied under Myra Brennan, and later Ron Plummer, and competed successfully at local feiseanna, as well as at national and world championships over the years.
Vincent received his TCRG in 1986 in Dublin, and taught briefly in Los Angeles before moving to San Francisco in 1994, where he currently resides. He is one of the directors of the Butler-Fearon-O’Connor School, located in California, USA and Ontario, Canada.
He received his ADCRG in 1995, and has judged competitions at local, regional, and national levels throughout the United States and Canada. Additionally, he has adjudicated at feisanna throughout the world, including in Ireland, England, Scotland, and Australia. He has adjudicated at Oireachtas Rince na Cruinne, the All-Scotland Championships, and the North American Championships. He is honored and delighted to be judging his first All-Ireland Championships, and wishes the best of luck to all competitors this week.
